Charlotte was born in Tehran in 1970. She and her family moved to the United States seven years later when she was just a little seed herself. She grew and grew to become an artist and has made New York her home. Charlotte has worked as an illustrator, graphic designer and art director, and has taught at Pratt Institute. Grow, Watermelon, Grow is her first book and she finds that reading to children is the most rewarding aspect.
